Concerted Action Plan to Prevent and Counter BullyingIn November 2015, the Québec government adopted the Concerted Action Plan to Prevent and Counter Bullying 2015‑2018 Bullying is also a concern for First Nations and Inuit organizations and communities. The With a view to supporting the development and implementation of initiatives by First Nations and Inuit in the fight against bullying and relying on the expertise available in the communities, the Québec government is taking additional steps to ensure that First Nations and Inuit have access to tools based on culturally appropriate and reassuring approaches that recognize the specific nature of each nation and community as well as the urban setting. Call for projectsOnce again, the SAA, in collaboration with the Ministère de la Famille, the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur, the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux and the Ministère de la Sécurité publique, is launching a financial assistance program aimed at supporting initiatives to develop or adapt bullying prevention, intervention and support tools suited to the Aboriginal reality for the year 2019-2020. In so doing, the government is taking concrete action with respect to action 4.8 of the Action Plan. First Nations and Inuit organizations and communities have until October 4th, 2019 to submit their projects. For more information about the call for projects, communicate with the SAA at: Documents:
